BVMF, hosted by the Barbados Film and Video Association, is a celebration of the work of independent filmmakers and content creators from around the world and pays special attention to the work of Barbadian and Caribbean filmmakers. Submission Period July-September

Run by the non-profit filmmakers collaborative, FILMCO, the trinidad+tobago film festival (ttff) celebrates films from and about the Caribbean and its diaspora, as well as from world cinema, through an annual festival and year-round screenings. In addition, the ttff seeks to facilitate the growth of Caribbean cinema by offering a wide-ranging industry programme and networking opportunities.

Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) is a unique and intimate Film Festival taking place in Nassau, the Bahamas showcasing films from around the globe. Additionally, it is an excellent opportunity for networking with some of the greatest minds in the industry.

BIFF was created in 2016 to celebrate the opening of the newly built The Walled Garden Theatre at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society. Since then it has expanded to venues across the island and introduced a annual Collaboration Grant that supports the making of a short film about Barbados by a local and international filmmaker.

NIFCA today, encourages artists to look at the innovations in the world but still tell the story of who we are and what makes us unique as Barbadian people. The festival provides a massive platform for persons in different art forms to showcase their skills, express themselves and share in a community of like minded individuals. Work displayed at the festival continues to highlight social, economic and environmental issues in a form that can be easily digested by the audiences that attend.

The Hairouna Film Festival (HFF) is the first festival of its kind in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). We are a free, outdoor film festival that travels around the islands of SVG bringing incredible Caribbean cinema into the hearts of up to nine different communities. We are an equal opportunities social impact project that uses film to engage, revitalize and celebrate our beloved Caribbean culture. 

The Bridgetown International Arts Festival is a platform of expression created by artists for artists. The festival is open to all expressions in performing arts, including music, theatre, spoken word and dance of ORIGINAL WORKS only. 

CaribbeanTales International Film Festival (CTFF)  celebrates the talents of established and emerging filmmakers of Caribbean and African heritage who practice their art across the Caribbean Diaspora worldwide.

CTFF 2021 is made up of 100% Caribbean-made and themed content. Our films are created by a team member of Caribbean descent or in the Caribbean Diaspora. We take pride in Supporting Caribbean Filmmakers & Creators Worldwide.

Third Horizon is an award-winning filmmaking collective dedicated to developing, producing, exhibiting and distributing film and other art forms that give voice to stories of the Caribbean, its diaspora and other marginalized and underrepresented spaces in the Global South. Our films have screened festivals such as Sundance, BlackStar, Berlinale, and TIFF.

The Belize International Film Festival (BelizeIFF) aims to stimulate film and audio-visual appreciation and production in Belize and its surrounding regions.   

The Havana Film Festival is a Cuban festival that focuses on the promotion of Latin American filmmakers. It is also known in Spanish as Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de La Habana, and in English as International Festival of New Latin American Cinema of Havana.

The Global Tourism Film Festival (GTFF) is a global competition dedicated to the recognition of excellence in all audiovisual content related to tourism promotion and destination branding. Its mission is to advance the competitiveness of destinations, tourism products, and services by stimulating creativity and innovation, honoring the best tourism film projects, and giving tourism films greater national and international visibility on this Virtual Film Festival held in October

The St. Barth Film Festival was launched in 1996, allowing the island to open its doors to the cultural richness of the Caribbean by way of its cinema. The St. Barth Film Festival also organizes film-in-the-schools programs in which filmmakers work with the island’s students to help them discover filmmaking as both a career option and a tool of cultural expression. The festival also hosts an annual round-table discussion on Caribbean Cinema and afternoon video screenings, open free to the public. All films and videos in the festival are presented in their original language and sub-titled in French. 

Timehri Film Festival is a completely virtual and free festival, bringing films from Guyana and the Caribbean to (mostly) Guyanese audiences around the world.
